Travel

Well we made our trip up to Cincinnati Children's Hospital yesterday to see a new neurologist for Tyler. He already had one at UK but we really didn't like him at all so his primary physician recommended another one. Me, Troy, and Tyler made the trip to Cincinnati on Thursday stayed over night and went into the doctor's office on Friday morning.

His appointment was at 8:30 and we were there until 10:00 going over everything that Tyler has done regarding his behavior and his actions with the seizures. This doctor was very thorough and went over everything that Tyler could possibly do unlike UK. At UK we would be in and out in about 5 minutes and still not know everything!! Tyler was diagnosed with complex partial seizures which can have different signs and symptoms. So I need to watch him but not be obsessive with it. Troy says that I do but I think I just worry.

It is just hard to watch your little boy go through tough issues.

Jumpoline

My mom bought the boys a trampoline for Christmas but it hasn't been warm enough for Troy to put it together until Thursday when it was semi-warm. So Troy worked on it Thursday after work and my mom came by to help him since I wasn't home yet.

Let's just say the boys had an opportunity to jump on the "jumpoline" as Tyler calls it. They had such a good time. I even got on it with them for a little while until the wind started to pick up.

"Been a while"

It's been a while since I've posted so I thought I would get caught up. We've been busing trying to get everything moved in the new house and strip wallpaper and get new toilets, etc...

So I thought I would just post some pictures of the boys that I have taken recently.

This is what was outside this morning and Tyler was excited!

Evaluation

Well Cameron was evaluated for speech on Tuesday by First Steps. You have to score a 70 or below well Cameron scored a 65 so he is eligible for speech therapy. They think that due to all of his ear infections he's had in the past as affected his speech. So they will get in contact with me and assign him a speech therapist and then he will get therapy once a week for up to an hour.

Hopefully this will help him develop the sounds and speech that he needs.

Exhaustion

Now that the holidays are over we have now moved into our new house. We started moving on the 1st (yes I know I am crazy on New Year's day) and moved all weekend long. I think that we have everything unpacked and ready to go. Now we get to start stripping off the wallpaper, painting, taking up the carpet. The fun never stops now!!

This house is bigger than the last one and we are closer to the sitters and my mom's house. Pretty much closer to everything.

Will post some pictures later.
