Hearing

Yesterday Cameron went into surgery for tubes for both ears. There w as so much fluid behind the ear drums that the fluid had gotten so thick that it was getting like mucus. The doctor was amazed that he could even hear at all! He also had to get his adenoids removed which were blocking over 50% of his nasal passage.

Today Cameron is doing pretty good little fussy but doing good. We will see if the speech picks up now that he able to hear better.

Enjoying the Day

Today was a beautiful day. It almost felt like spring when only two weeks ago we were fighting snow and electrical outages. Since it was such a nice day we washed both cars and took the boys to the park and just let them be outside to play and have a good time.

It seems that I am in a doctor's office every week for some reason or another. Today was Cameron's turn. We went to an ENT today to determine if he needs tubes for his ears. Well....he does. He also has large tonsils and might have to have his adenoids taken out as well. The doctor doesn't remove the tonsils on children under 2 years of age so that might come later.

Let's see where I can go next week.
