Cameron will acutally turn 2 tomorrow on the 31st...but we had his birthday party on yesterday at the house. It is so much work trying to get the house ready for guests to come and just make a mess. Mop the floors, clean the bathrooms, clean the kitchen, vacuum the rooms, the list could go on and on. That's okay it was for my baby.
We had the party mainly outside and had a bounce house up and of course the trampoline. We wanted to have up a blow up waterslikde but it didn't want to stay up so we nixed that idea. It turned out very nice and not stressful.
Cameron went to the doctor last Saturday...said he had a sinus infection plus a double ear infection. The ears have been really gross draining out all kinds of nasty stuff. He was put on Augmentum for 10 days. Needless to say I took him back today because he is no better. He still has the double ear infection and not getting better so now we are going to try Bactrum. If he isn't better by Thursday we will be making a visit to the ENT to see if the tubes need to be replaced. I sure hope not!
Another thing that happened this week...we are looking for a new sitter for Cameron. We have had several issues with his old sitter and diaper rashes and not being cleaned well. So we pulled him out and are looking for a new daycare to go to. Talk about stressful!!
We made a trip to King's Island on Thursday for a day of fun. Tyler was so excited to see the rollercoasters. However he is at the in between heights--too tall for some and not tall enough for others. He would ride the Diamondback if he could. We got there around 11:30 or so and didn't leave until 7:00. We had one tired boy on our hands.
Friday was the trip to his neurologist at Cincinnati Children's Hospital for a check-up. He increased his dosage by another ml. Said he was doing good and hopefully we can keep his seizures away. We go back in another 3 months. Before the 3 month check-up we get to go and see a DDBP for the autistic like tendencies. Oh yeah it got moved up from December 22nd to October 27th. Right now I will take it...
We had a really busy weekend. First Tyler had a "Fun Day" at his school on Friday. Followed by swimming at mom's on Saturday then Sarah's Birthday party at Amerisports Gymnastics. The boys were wore out. Then today we went to Troy's work picnic at Jacobson park at 1 til 5 which we only stayed to about 3:30 we had two tired boys on our hands.
Coming up this week...Thursday is a visit to King's Island and Friday we go to Tyler's neurology appointment in Cincinnati.
