Update on Cam...

Cameron has been doing pretty well these days. Cam is starting to talk much better however there are still some sounds and words that just aren't clear--we are still doing speech therapy every week for an hour. Some of his new words are: Mt. Dew (hilarious-country slang), "don know" and some other inappropriate words. He has started to not eat as much as he once did concerns me a little bit, but as long as he is healthy I am okay with it.

Cameron just turned 2 at the end of August and we are completely potty trained and have been for about a month or so. GO CAMERON!! He has started to try us more and more, I guess that comes with turning 2.

Cincinnati again...

We made a trip to Cincinnati again for Tyler's 3 month check-up which went well. Once talking with the doctor we found out that Tyler is having tics and they have now put him on another medication to help with his sleep, tics, and possibly some of his anxiety. I was hesitant about the medicine at first because it can mess with your blood pressure but the doc says it is fine and that we need to give it a try. So we started it last night and so far he is sleeping better but that's it--we will give it time and see.

When we set out to go to the doctor we told him that he wasn't going to get a shot ("poked" as Tyler calls it) however the doctor had a different idea. They did some blood work for genetics to see if we are missing something. He was terrified--hates it so bad! It will take up to 3 weeks to get the results back and we also made an appointment for a MRI on the brain scheduled for December 4th. They want to do another MRI to make sure the seizures aren't causing any damage since we haven't had one done since he was 16 months old.
